Recently hackers have taken to the phones. They represent themselves as a Microsoft or Apple representative telling you that they found a virus on your computer and they need access to fix the problem.
Microsoft and Apple will never call you! If this should happen, hang up your phone and immediately turn your computer off.
These people are criminals with the goal of encrypting your data so that you have to pay them to get it back.
