Adware attacks are a very annoying form of malware that sends you pop up ads. Mainly these ads are harmless but some can collect data on you and your activity.
Next is Botnet attacks. This is where a hacker gets hold of control of multiple devices on one network, from your phone to your tv or any variation of items using the same router. This is an indicator that your router has been compromised. This is usually associated with companies.
The last one today is card skimming attacks. This is a more hands on approach. They put reading device over the original reader and a mini camera to catch your pin. The most likely places to find these devices is a gas station where you pay at the pump and retail stores.
