This is a newer term than phishing but still one we have all heard.
Pharming: While similar to phishing it is different. This is a where hackers make a convincing looking website or ad. After clicking on the website or ad they request your log in information and then they have access to your account, whether it’s your social media or your bank.
What to look for:
1: The website in the address bar is not what it should be, the http:// isn’t there, it’s really long, or there is just something very strange about it.
2: Again, check the spelling and grammar
If you aren’t sure if you are on the right website, shut down the webpage and type in the page you want!
