What is a Grinch bot?
Have you ever tried to buy a popular gift for someone only to find that it’s sold out everywhere? We all remember Elmo a few years back, right?
The reason for this is usually a Grinch bot. They track what is the most popular and purchase multiples making it almost impossible to find them!
Then they post them on sites like Amazon, Ebay, and other places where you might go to look if you can’t find them anywhere else.
What can you do?
Very little actually. You can either pay the exorbitant prices or get one when they come off of back order after the holidays. If you wait for the back ordered item the person behind the Grinch bot may be deterred a little but there is no law that says they can’t do this… yet.
