This time it comes from an app that you may have installed on your phone! The ‘ai-type’ app is what we are talking about!
It says it’s the best keyboard out there for Apple and Android alike and can auto correct and predict what you are going to type and how you are going to type. Sounds great… right?
One problem: they didn’t protect their server so all the data that they collected from your phone has been compromised. This includes EVERYTHING on your phone from your contacts to your social media accounts or anything else you do on your phone!
What to do if you downloaded this app:
1: Keep an eye on your bank accounts and report anything suspicious
2: Change your passwords for all of your accounts (see blog for password help)
3: Turn on the two factor authentication for your accounts.
