There has been a lot of buzz lately about CryptoCurrency or Bitcoin.  At the beginning of 2017 Bitcoin was selling for less than $1,000 and by the end of 2017 the price over $18,000.

What does this have to do with Cryptojacking?  Bitcoin is a digital currency that gains in price by a block chain.  These block chains are created through digital mining.  The miners put a special program onto computers that hijacks your processor.

What this means to you:
The long and short of it is that someone has hacked into your computer and is using it to ‘mine’ for Bitcoin.  While the software for Cryptomining runs in the background, you may notice that your battery life is not lasting as long or your gadget may be getting warmer than usual.
