Because Walmart does business with so many different companies a breach was probably inevitable.  This one was linked to the business they do with Limoges Jewelry.

This latest breach was pretty big and dates from 2000 to January 13, 2018.  Wamart was able secure the breach but not before it exposed vital information including names, addresses, zip codes, phone numbers, email address and plain text passwords!

The worst of this is the plain text passwords!  They weren’t even encrypted.

Companies affected by this breach include Walmart, Amazon, Sears, Kmart, Target, Overstock and others.

What to do if you have an account with someone that sells Limoges:
1:  Change your password immediately (check out our latest blog on passwords)
2:  Keep an eye on your bank accounts
3:  Set up 2 Factor authentication
