MyloBot is a malware that was recently discovered. This malware can install ransomware, steal your data, turn off your anti-virus protection, it can even delete the competition that might be on your computer, ie: other malware!
How does MyloBot work?
It stays dormant for 14 days before making its move. After that it blocks your firewall, disables Windows updates, deletes the competition, and then starts running malicious programs disguised as Windows applications.
With that done, it has complete control of your computer. The most dangerous part of MyloBot is the fact that it runs on memory and leaves no trace on your hard drive!
What you can do?
Keep your computer and antivirus up-to-date and if you notice your computer doing something strange disconnect it from the internet and bring it in!
