It’s the perfect time for a vacation.  The kids are out of school and there are so many things you can do with the good weather!

Vacation rentals are another scam that is popular.  You find a place online that is terrific and inexpensive.  They want a prepayment, which is logical.  What happens after that is not.

After you prepay, you may not even get confirmation of the place or you could get confirmation but when you show up they tell you that it’s no good!

How to Avoid This:

Make sure that you are on a legitimate website.

Don’t use a free third party site like Craigslist to look for a place.

Also, it at all possible, visit the place that you will be renting.
