The hardest thing about a breach is dealing with the aftermath.  What do you do?

Tips for AFTER a breach:

1:  Find out if how much of your information was breached.  Was it your username and password?  Your social security number? Your personal information? What company was breached?

2:  Contact that company to see if they will help – most companies will offer a year of free credit monitoring.

3:  Change ALL of your passwords!  Even if they weren’t breached!

4:  Keep an eye on your accounts and report anything that is suspicious!
