Apple recently released iOS12 for iPhones and iPads. Along with the new features that have been highlighted, there is one that wasn’t.
iTunes store has put this disclaimer in their privacy page:
“To help identify and prevent fraud, information about how you use your device, including the approximate number of phone calls or emails you send and receive, will be used to compute a device trust score when you attempt a purchase. The submissions are designed so Apple cannot learn the real values on your device. The scores are stored for a fixed time on our servers.”
Apple is going to track your location, calls, purchases, basically everything in order to give you a ‘trust score.’
What they are hoping to do is prevent and identify fraud and scams earlier.
