Most active days:
Hackers also have specific days that they work. For instance, Microsoft emails are seen more Monday through Friday, with peaks on Tuesday and Thursday.
Netflix phishing scams are seen more on the weekend when we are streaming more.
Also, bank scams tend to be on the weekend when your bank support is closed.
How to protect yourself from phishing scams:
Don’t open links in your emails.
Be cautious of emails with spelling errors or ones that are address to ‘customer.’
Make sure you have strong passwords.
Use two factor authentication when possible.
