The second Tuesday of every month is considered update Tuesday by Microsoft.  Last month, Microsoft stopped their monthly update, named October 2018 Update due to complaints that it was deleting huge chunks of files!

This bug affected those that turned on the feature known as “Known Folder Redirection.”

And if this bug wasn’t enough, the update was also causing problems with faulty HP keyboard drivers causing computers to blue screen!

Microsoft has fixed the blue screen problem and released an emergency update to try to fix the other problems as well.

If you are currently having problems with your Windows:

Try running updates.  Windows 10 machines are set to run them automatically.

There will also be new updates coming out to fix the problems that currently exist.
