The Post Office rolled out a new feature last year called Informed Delivery. It allows you to see an image of the mail being delivered to you.
The problem?
Hackers are signing up with their victims information and stealing the mail right out of your box. This gives them all the information that they need to steal your identity.
How to prevent this from happening to you:
Sign up for this feature here before someone else does. Once you sign up, no one else will be able to and if they try you will get a notice in the mail.
If you didn’t sign up but got a notice that you did, go to the Post Office and have them fix it immediately.
