Have you recently gotten an email thanking you for your purchase from the App store but you didn’t buy anything?

The idea is that you will say “I didn’t buy that” and click on the link or attachment in the email.

What happens next?

You will be routed to a site that looks like Apple but isn’t.

This web page is going to ask for your credentials and then it will tell you that your account has been locked in order to get all of your other login information.

How to protect yourself:

If you get this email or one similar, don’t click on the link or attachment!

Go directly to Apple.com and login there to check your purchases and your account.
