When we think of hackers, we think computers or laptops or networks. We don’t always think of our phones.
Why would hackers attack your phone?
Phones are the next logical step for hackers. We put so much data into our phones. All of our contacts, our photos, our banking, our logins, basically everything is in our phones now.
On top of that, hackers could hack your phone in order to mine for cryptocurrency, or simply do it because they can.
How do you protect yourself?
Put an antivirus on your phone and run it every month!
Make sure that your operating system is up-to-date.
Only download apps that come from the App Store or Google Play.
Get rid of apps that you don’t use.
Watch your battery use. If you notice an increase of your battery drain, run your antivirus!
