Google+ is a social networking site that Google created to compete with Facebook. It didn’t have the desired effect though. Google had scheduled it to be pulled in August of this year but after the data breach in December 2018 they have moved that date up to April 2nd.
What this means to you:
If you used Google+ you need to get all of your data off before they completely shut it down.
How to download your data:
Go to takeout.google.com and log in. From there you should be able to download or archive all of the data that you want to keep.
If you decided to archive it, keep in mind the archive will only last for a week before it’s deleted.
If you have pictures or documents on Google+ that you don’t want to lose, now is the time to download them!
