Google Play discovered three adware apps recently. They have a unique strategy for staying on your phone.
After launching the app the first time, it hides itself and only gives you a shortcut to the app. When you try to uninstall it from your home screen you only get the shortcut removed.
What were the three apps?
Ideal camera: Full Featured Camera for Android
Excellent Camera
Super Camera Lite 2019
What to do if you did install these?
They either need to be uninstalled from your Google Play store or from your apps settings in your phones.
Removing the icon does not remove the app!
