Hackers are good at what they do, otherwise they wouldn’t do it! It’s difficult to stay current with technology that is always changing.
Here are a few things that don’t change that will make your online life safer:
1: Have an antivirus installed on your devices (that includes phones and tablets!) and make sure it’s updated!
2: Make sure you have a strong password. Check out this blog for details.
3: Only use each password once! That way if your password gets hacked it’s only one site, not all of them.
4: Watch for unusual charges on any of your cards, even if it’s just a dollar!
5: Check your credit score and make sure that there isn’t anything there that shouldn’t be.
